Dick Bourke has advised me of the sad passing of Jim Crowley, his classmate from the Class of 1968. Jim was from Cobh and passed away on Sept 14th 2013.
Whilst Jim had been unwell, he was a man of great stoicism and bravery, he had a great heart and wonderful sense of humour. He was a treasured colleague and friend and he had lived in London for many years .
Jim was cremated in Crawley on Sept 27. There is a memorial service planned for Cobh on either 22nd or 23rd Oct – I will confirm the details when I have them.
