Sarah Geraghty, Head of ADHM Programme in Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA) and a member of the Class of 2004 organised the inaugural Seychelles Alumni Chapter event which took place on May 29th 2015 in the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort and Casino.
The event was attended by the Minister for Tourism and Culture Alain St. Ange, Kate O’Connell, Registrar of Shannon College, Flavien Joubert, Principal of the Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA) as well as Seychellois Alumni of Shannon College, staff and friends of STA.
The evening started with a welcome cocktail reception, followed by speeches by the Minister of Tourism Mr Alain St Ange, Kate O’Connell and Flavien Joubert. Kate presented Graduation Gifts from Class Patron Mary Fitzgerald to members of the class of 2015 who were not present at the Graduation Ball. It was a very successful and enjoyable evening and is the start of regular get togethers in this paradise location!
