If you had to re-live your time in Shannon College, would you do anything differently?
I would have sought out counselling as I was not in a good place back then. Don’t ever be afraid to talk to someone.
What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?
Lay off the booze and try and keep yourself busy.
In your life, what achievement are you most proud of?
My children.
What qualities do you think are most important to have for a rewarding career?
Enjoy what your doing. That’s it. No point being successful if you hate what you’re doing
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced during Covid-19?
Not seeing my friends and family. It’s been a while.
Do you have words of wisdom that you try to live by?
Keep going. Don’t stop, figure out what your good at and do it. Back yourself.
What advice do you have for current SCHM students who are looking for inspiration and hope?
Stop caring what other people think of you. It’s your life, live it.
