Most of them – particularly seeing everyone after returning from placement
If you had to re-live your time in Shannon College, would you do anything differently?
No – at times it was the most challenging experience, however nothing has ever prepared me for the real world more than my time at Shannon.
What advice would you give to your 20 year old self?
Trust your instincts and believe in your ability
In your life, what achievement are you most proud of?
Graduating with two awards- the proudest moment of my life
What qualities do you think are most important to have for a rewarding career?
Determination, compassion, kindness and modesty
What has been the biggest challenge you have faced during Covid-19?
My day to day life changing in the sense of not being around my friends and partner. My career progression has been put on hold e.g promotion delays
Do you have words of wisdom that you try to live by?
No – just my moral compass that I trust more than anything or anyone
What advice do you have for current SCHM students who are looking for inspiration and hope?
Take every opportunity that comes your way but no matter where you get or who you become it’s so important to be yourself.
