Job Description

The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fine dining restaurant, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the culinary industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving business success. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and exceptional performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, strategic planning, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the restaurant team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  •  Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions
  •  Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are consistently maintained
  •  Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction
  •  Recruit, train, and mentor staff members, empowering them to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations
  •  Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control measures to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability
  •  Cultivate positive relationships with guests, vendors, and industry partners to enhance the restaurants reputation and success
  •  Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  •  Uphold compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies

Qualifications

  •  Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in a fine dining restaurant or hospitality environment
  •  Extensive knowledge of fine dining service standards, wine, and culinary techniques
  •  Strong business acumen, with the ability to drive financial performance and achieve operational objectives
  •  Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  •  Detail-oriented approach and dedication to delivering flawless guest experiences
  •  Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  •  Bachelor’s degree in hospitality is a plus
  •  Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  •  Problem-solving aptitude
